Getting Closer to God Ministries offers the following dramatic presentations:

  • Nicodemus, secret disciple. Provides an eyewitness to the earthly ministry of Jesus and the crucifixion while exhorting others not to be ashamed of Christ. The gospel is proclaimed and a response is called for.
  • Vitulus, Roman Centurion at the cross. Provides an eyewitness to the crucifixion and challenges others to stand up for what they know is right. The gospel is proclaimed and a response is called for.
  • Gaspar, Magi from the East. Provides an eyewitness for the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The gospel is proclaimed and a response is called for.
  • The Apostle Peter. Eyewitness to the ministry and resurrection of Christ. Emphasizes how to recover from failure and presents the gospel while calling for a response.
  • The Apostle Paul. Emphasizes the danger of legalism and its biblical remedy.
  • Governor William Bradford of Plymouth. Speaks about the comfort of faith and trust in Jesus Christ.
  • Schoolmaster Humphrey Grey of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England. A historical look at education from Elizabethan & early American times. Emphasizes the role of the Bible and Christianity in education.
  • William Carey, Father of Modern Missions. Emphasizes how God can use anyone to do His Will, no matter how lowly his or her circumstances. Challenges others to become involved in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Disenchanted Christmas Shopper. Provides a challenge to look beyond the secular busyness of the season to recapture the real reason for the season.
